How I Plan a New Year with Adventurous Photography
We are already well into 2025, and I am preparing myself both physically and mentally for a new adventure! I am incredibly excited to share my thoughts and plans for the coming year. A natural part of me is that I am always looking for new places, creative opportunities and challenges. And that is precisely why the profession of photography suits me extremely well!
This year, perhaps more than ever, I feel more inspired to pursue unique photography and creative concepts.
In this blog, I will share how I plan to take my photography to the next level, what inspires me, and how I work behind the scenes.
1. Setting a Vision for the Year: Adventurous Photography in 2025
For me, planning a photo shoot is about setting a clear vision for what I want to achieve. This year I’m focused on creating images that not only capture the moment, but also tell a magical story. Whether it’s capturing a winter landscape or creating a unique art photograph, I love creativity and innovation, which is why I’ve set a goal to do something a little different this year – both with my photos themselves and the way I share them.
2. Planning and Details: How to organize a whole year of photography.
Being a photographer is not just about taking a great photo. To be successful, it’s equally important to have control over the details, while also not being thrown off balance if something unexpected comes up. I love being spontaneous, following my enthusiasm – and that things don’t always go as planned (embracing this has saved me from countless photoshoots). But my goal is to gain even more control over my organization and get my plans in order. For me, that means setting clear goals for upcoming photographs, photo frames and prints, and of course preparing myself for big adventures!
I look forward to documenting this process for you, both on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube, where I will show behind-the-scenes and the journey itself!
3. How to attract the right customers?
My vision for 2025 is to work with clients who truly appreciate art and quality – those are my dream clients! My clients are those who want an exclusive photo shoot, either for special occasions or as art photography to hang on the wall at home. They are artists and entrepreneurs who want to combine the mystery and atmosphere of nature in their portraits. It is you who want to immortalize memories of yourself in a way that makes your heart skip a beat – and that gives you a really good feeling every time you see it.
But there are also other potential partners who share the same vision and mindset.
4. What can you expect?
Over the next few months I will share more insights into how I develop my projects, what happens behind the scenes, and how I work. On YouTube (click on link) you will be able to watch longer videos from amazing places in Telemark and elsewhere in Norway (this will be in English). On Snapchat ( search for eventyrligfotog ) there will be a slightly more informal and spontaneous atmosphere, where there will also be opportunities for DMs if you have questions and comments. On Instagram (click on link) there will be a focus on sharing pictures of the process, as well as the finished image (in Norwegian).
